Here at Bell Farm we are involved in breeding Thoroughbreds to race and so we provide care at every stage of the racehorse’s life.

We have a small number of broodmares each year plus foal down mares for other small breeders. We then offer weaning, handling and sales prep of young stock, or a safe place to grow out youngsters with mini preps, regular farrier visits, all vaccinations and worming needs provided on pasture improved grazing in small, closely supervised groups.

We spell horses off the track between race preps and can offer full care for convalescent horses post op or post illness with a resident equine vet.

We are pleasure riders ourselves who sometimes compete in local eventing competitions.  We offer a relaxed, friendly agistment facility to other riders and encourage their equestrian ambitions. Expert teachers for all disciplines are readily available in the local area. Some are happy to come here to instruct us or we can easily travel to venues for jumping, cross country or dressage instruction.

Floating services are available to comps, sales, studs or as required.
